Standard 10 oz Jute Burlap
Our premium 100% jute burlap fabric offers a durable, breathable, and sustainable option for home decor, crafting, and industrial applications with its natural texture and versatile 60-inch width.

Natural & Versatile
This burlap fabric is made from 100% natural jute fibers in a traditional 1-over-1 plain weave. The loose weave creates a slightly see-through texture where the yarns meet, perfect for rustic home decor like table covers, curtains, and craft projects.
Sustainable & Hypoallergenic
Our jute burlap is an eco-friendly choice that’s better for the planet than synthetic fabrics. The natural fibers are hypoallergenic, causing fewer skin reactions while providing excellent moisture resistance and breathability for both decorative and practical uses.
Industrial Strength
Beyond home decor, this sturdy fabric works well for industrial needs like aerated food sacks, tree root wraps for nurseries, landscaping material, garden fencing, and privacy screens, making it truly multipurpose.

Burlap excels in projects requiring natural texture and rustic appeal. Popular uses include table runners, wall hangings, garden accessories, gift wrapping, wedding decorations, upholstery backing, and craft projects. Its natural appearance makes it especially suitable for farmhouse and rustic decor styles.
While naturally moisture-resistant, burlap can be made fully waterproof using either commercial waterproofing sprays or natural alternatives. For an eco-friendly option, apply melted beeswax or soy wax with a paintbrush, then heat with a hairdryer to help it penetrate the fibers. Multiple light coats work better than one heavy application.
For best results, stretch your burlap on a frame and apply a thin layer of gesso or fabric primer first. This prevents paint from bleeding through the loose weave. Acrylic paints work well, but apply them gently to avoid pushing through the weave. Allow each layer to dry completely before adding more detail.
Prevent fraying by applying fray check solution to cut edges, using pinking shears when cutting, or creating a simple folded hem secured with fabric glue or stitching. For no-sew projects, masking tape applied to the backside before cutting can temporarily reduce fraying while you work.
