Polyester Charmeuse Satin Fabric
Our 100% polyester charmeuse satin fabric offers a smooth, lustrous finish with excellent drape at 58/60 inches wide, perfect for creating elegant apparel and luxurious home décor at wholesale prices.

Elegant Shine and Texture
This charmeuse satin features a distinctive satin-style weave where vertical polyester yarns pass over horizontal weft yarns, creating that sought-after smooth, shiny surface that catches the light beautifully. The fabric flows gracefully when hung, making it ideal for garments that require movement and fluidity.
Versatile Applications
Use this medium-weight satin for crafting stylish bridal wear, evening gowns, dresses, and skirts. Its 58/60-inch width provides ample material for larger projects, while also being suitable for home décor items like table covers, curtains, and event draperies where a touch of luxury is desired.
Easy Care and Maintenance
This fabric is designed for convenience with simple care requirements. Machine wash in cold water with similar colors to prevent bleeding, then tumble dry on low heat. The 100% polyester construction means it maintains its lustrous appearance and smooth feel even after multiple washes.

Charmeuse satin is distinguished by its specific weaving technique that creates a fabric with a lustrous, smooth front side and a more matte back side. At 90 GSM, our polyester charmeuse is a medium-weight satin with exceptional drape and flow, making it softer and more fluid than heavier satin varieties.
For best results, pre-wash the fabric before sewing using the recommended care instructions. While polyester charmeuse typically doesn’t shrink significantly, pre-washing removes any sizing or finishing agents and allows the fabric to relax, ensuring your finished project maintains its intended dimensions after washing.
While polyester charmeuse satin has good durability, it’s primarily designed for indoor use. Extended exposure to direct sunlight may cause gradual fading over time. For outdoor events, it works well for temporary decorations but isn’t recommended for permanent outdoor installations.
Use a fine, sharp needle (size 60/8 or 70/10) and polyester thread for best results. A straight stitch plate or single-hole plate can help prevent the fabric from being pushed into the needle hole. Consider using a walking foot to prevent layers from shifting during sewing.
