This fabric features two distinct sides: a smooth, shiny front and a textured matte back. Made from 100% polyester, it combines the elegant look of silk with practical durability and easy maintenance.
Use clothespins or weights instead of pins, a sharp 10/70 needle, and short stitch lengths. Place tissue paper between fabric layers to prevent slipping. Finish edges with a serger or hand-stitching to prevent fraying.
Lining is optional. The fabric’s dual-sided nature allows you to use either the satin or crepe side as the main surface, with the opposite side providing natural backing.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Roll rather than fold to prevent permanent creasing and maintain the fabric’s smooth appearance.
